The Mosaic gives it a really nice fruitiness that's tropical, but not just tropical - I love the blueberry note! It's really nicely balanced, and well rounded with a malt base that supports the hops, doesn't interfere with them, and in fact is accentuated by them. It takes a bit of a dive in taste, feeling a bit flat up front, but thankfully saving itself on the finish. I'm picking up on aromas of juicy blueberry, resinous weed, grass, crackery malt, pineapple, and light pithy grapefruit The blueberry character of the Mosaic is really in full swing with this one, and thankfully that's my favorite part of the hop. Pours a mostly clear orange gold with 3 fingers of soapy white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing So I knew I’d have to pick it up to see what I may have been missing. ![]() In a thread on BA about Moasic hop focused IPAs, somebody brought up this beer, and a few agreed that it was quite good.
